How can we help you?

Fair Returns Policy

What is the Fair Returns Policy?

Paid Returns

We want to continue offering you a simple, transparent and free returns service. At the same time, we need to ensure that this service remains sustainable in the long term.

However, a very small proportion of our customers have a returns pattern that is significantly above the usual average, for example through:

  • an exceptionally high number of returns,
  • regularly returning entire orders,
  • a significantly disproportionate ratio between the number of items ordered and the number of items kept.

Such behaviour results in disproportionately high shipping and processing costs, which cannot be sustainably borne by the wider customer community.

To continue offering fair terms to all customers, we reserve the right to deduct a flat-rate returns fee of €4.95 from your refund in cases of excessive returns.

This flat-rate fee reflects the average cost we incur for each return and is intended solely to ensure that free returns can remain available to customers who use the service responsibly.

When does the returns fee not apply?

Even if your previous returns pattern means that the Fair Returns Policy applies to you, return shipping will remain free of charge provided you keep items worth at least €70 from the order.

This policy ensures that customers who shop regularly and keep part of their orders can continue to return items free of charge.

How will I know whether the returns fee applies to me?

Transparency is important to us.

Before applying a returns fee, we will notify you:

  1. by email,
  2. directly on the checkout page,
  3. and on the returns page before you register your return.

There, you will be clearly shown:

  • whether the Fair Returns Policy currently applies to you,
  • and the minimum order value you need to retain for your return to remain free of charge.

This means you will always be fully informed and can plan your order accordingly.

If you do not receive any of these notifications, your return shipping will remain completely free of charge as usual.

If you placed your order using Klarna or PayPal instalment payments, you will pay for your order in regular instalments. If you return an item within 30 days of delivery, we will refund the relevant amount, less any applicable deductions.

BEOU. accepts no liability towards you for any instalment payments or additional fees charged by Klarna or PayPal. Please therefore ensure that these are paid in full.

Fehlerhafte und falsche Artikel

You can still return faulty items free of charge, as well as any items we sent you that you did not order.

Suspicious Activity

If we suspect fraud and/or identify unusual or suspicious activity on your account, we may refuse a refund and/or suspend your account and any associated accounts.

Such activity may include, but is not limited to: claims relating to orders not received or missing items; ordering and returning unusually large quantities, far more than even our most loyal BEOU. customers would normally order; an unusually high number or value of orders; unusual patterns of return activity; suspected extended wear of items before they are returned rather than simply trying them on; multiple returns being rejected by us (see “When we may refuse a refund” in our Terms and Conditions); or returning items that have been worn or used, or that do not match the items originally ordered.

If your account has been deactivated and you need to make a valid return, please refer to the account closure email we sent you. It contains information on how to return eligible items. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. All returns will be processed as usual once they reach our warehouse.

Please note that we reserve the right to take legal action against you if the items you return do not match those you originally ordered.
